Throughout my careerI've worked hard to develop a reputation for offering my clients effective and therapeutic Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sport Massage treatments. I alsohave a keen interest in learning all I can about health and the human body. To that end, in 2012, after seeing first hand how:
Lymphedema effects the quality of life and self image of individuals living with the disease; and
I made the decision to pursue my interest in working with individuals living with this condition. Since completing a post-graduate program in Combined Decongestive Therapy in 2013, the primary focus of my practice has been helping my clients effectively manage the symptoms of Lymphedema, in order to maintain or improve their quality of life. Furthermore, as the vast majority of the Lymphedema patients I treat are cancer survivors, in June 2016 I completed Level 1 of Wellspring's CancerSmart Rehabcertification program, to better serve this population.
